Rosin flux paste for PCB rework. Available in syringes and 2 kg pots. The Cast flux for SMD rework is a high viscosity no-clean flux developed for PCB reworks and repairs with SMT technology. The Cast rework flux is consistently easy to apply due to the syringe, meeting the requirements of the area. The Cast rework flux does not evaporate quickly, unlike other fluxes with fewer solids that are harder to apply and can evaporate, therefore negatively impacting solderability.
The Cast rework flux has excellent performance in applications where the flux requires thermal stability for each reworked SMT component. The Cast rework flux is ideal for semi-automatic rework processes of QFP and BGA components, and also for reworking conventional components, soldering and desoldering in selective soldering machines. Its low level of residue can be easily removed with Cast Cleaner or any alcohol-based solvent. The Cast rework flux can be used with other products from the Cast Solder and Flux catalog.
